AI; the new normal🤖🗾
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has rapidly become a major player in modern life and business. It has the potential to revolutionise the way we live and work, and it is increasingly being used to automate tasks, improve decision-making, and provide more personalised experiences.
The use of AI has increased in various industries in Africa to improve automation and efficiency, such as in manufacturing and supply chain management. Additionally, in customer service and retail, AI chatbots and virtual assistants are being used to provide 24/7 support and improve customer experience. In the field of energy and resource management, it is being utilised to optimise resource allocation and improve sustainability. Also, the security industry uses it to improve surveillance and threat detection.
Overall, AI is having a transformative impact on various industries in Africa by providing new capabilities and driving innovation. However, there are also concerns about its negative effects on modern life and business e.g job loss and privacy.
